Founded in July 2008 as Chesterfield Biogas Limited, we delivered the UK’s first Biomethane-to-Grid plant, laying the groundwork for a new era in renewable gas infrastructure.
In 2015, following the acquisition of Greenlane Biogas, we became Greenlane Biogas UK Limited. Under this banner, we designed, supplied, and commissioned 13 additional biogas upgrading systems across the UK, with many more deployed throughout Europe — establishing ourselves as a trusted technical leader in the field. A significant milestone came in April 2024, when Greenlane Renewables Inc. divested its UK and European operations to the Heat and Power Group.
